With AdRotate complete. And me tired of testing. We’re approaching release.
Trunk and Tag folders are set up. SVN is anxious to upload the files…
Not much people apparently wanted to test AdRotate and the few who did so far didn’t give any feedback. So i guess i have to go on my own test results. Which so far have all been positive and good. I expect little or no trouble.
If anyone thinks AdRotate needs a test run on his or her localhost. Drop a message. Otherwise by the end of the week i’m gonna release the plugin as is and hope a flurry of support tickets won’t come.
The Knowledge base is on a diet right now as a bunch of pages are rewritten for AdRotate with new content and screenshots. They do not apply to the older versions thus i have temporarily disabled a few pages.
I’ve managed to squeeze in a few extra features and requested things which i’m not gonna discuss or name. You’ll just have to be impatient untill you can try it for yourself.
Try and guess what a yellow marked ad would mean:

Version 3 is gonna be massive and you’re going to be a part of it!
And it will only get better and better!

Hi!
Just updating my old self-made php-site to WordPress with AdRotate as one plugin.
Instead of continuing with v2, I would happily test v3. Is that possible?
Regards
Jocke
Will one be able to css style the widgets in v3?
Regards
Jocke
@Jocke, i’ve sent you a mail with details for the RC. The widget has no styling options of it’s own if you’re after that. You can ofcourse style the ads to take a certain shape.
Look forward to the new release!
I’m using AdRotate on two websites and I would like to test the v3 on localhost before upgrading on live sites.
You’re doing a great job. Thanks!
Hi Arnan – testing v3 this weekend on a reseller cloud service.
Have sent you a couple of emails so far – first one had a short list of typos and a non-critical bug, but serious from a user experience viewpoint.
Just noticed when trying to test the blocks functions that there is no on-screen help at all – this is quite serious too from a user experience standpoint … especially considering that even as an experienced adrotate user, I’m having to come here for help and user notes while testing this for you.
That said, my experience is that apart from rare oddities, user documentation has never been a strong point of anything to do with WordPress.
Will update you more soon
Gaz
Documentation will be available on my knowledgebase. And every field is explained.
I’ll look at your emails now.
