Scams, lies and complete chaos!
Written by Arnan on July 11, 2008 – 3:17 amSo i took a good look behind my iMac today and under my desk. yup i was at it again, adding yet another cable to the pile.
And i remembered seeing an image on the Apple website picturing a Dell computer and the new iMac. How clean the iMac looked compared to the Dell with cables and stuff running around.
And i must say… It’s a lie! I have even more cables than the Dell in their image.

And here is the sad truth! Ofcourse, not everything is from the mac. But 80% of what you see here is either connecting to the mac, powering peripherals to the mac or otherwise involved for that iMac. It’s insane!
Behind the iMac it’s complete mayhem, headphone cable, sound cords, multiple USB and Firewire cables, ethernet, power cords…
Below the table is mostly the lengthy pieces hanging down, a whole lot of audio cable coming from the sound card (the LED box in the other image) and a bunch of power cables. Going to various devices in this area.
