Events 1.5.4

Written by Arnan on September 30, 2008 – 12:26 am

A small bugfix update. Fixing 2 bugs.

When editing an event the ending month is now shown correctly and the All-day events have nothing to worry about times anymore.

after installation there are no events, what do you mean exactly.

also deletion of events works as expected here. re-install events or upgrade wordpress to the latest version.

ever since the update that created categories I have gotten this error message when trying to add an event

Unknown column ‘category’ in ‘field list’

What do I need to do to fix this, I think this is a really cool plugin and don’t want to toss it but I haven’t been able to use it for over a month. (yes, I should have asked earlier)

you also just could have read the upgrade instructions…

or asked multiple times on the forum

Seriously think this is almost the best calendar plugin with the exception of…

There is no link in list view. So if you have added an external link, there is no way to get to it.

Or in the widget have a mechanism to go to your events page which you have made so easy to create so you can see the full calendar and get to the links that way.

Other than that, it is simple and clean without all the “its almost time for this thing to happen in blah blah blah blah”

Is there a reason the tooltips are all caps? I did not look at the CSS to see if I could change that. I suppose I should.

THanks for your kind words. However i think you got one thing wrong. Events is not a calendar in that sense.

It’s a listing of things that happened or are about to.

Anyway, tooltips are formatted by wordpress i applied no layout to them and links can be shown using %link% you can set that in the settings of events, in the template fields.
