Today i’ve finally acquired an Airport card. To my shock it only seemed to support WEP and variations thereof. Lucky for me Apple made a firmware update years ago which enabled WPA support. So i only had to set the network security to support WPA and WPA2 instead of just WPA2.
Now i’m just awaiting the new battery and bottom case and the restoration is pretty much complete. I’m still interested in a LCD upgrade, but i cannot find a fitting LCD panel (connections often are different) and i suspect it’s quite pricey if i do find one… But who knows.
