This week a terribly broken iPhone came in for repairs. A car had driven over it. Amazingly though, just the glass front was broken and there was a small crack in the black backplate.
We didn’t have much hope of it working or the inner workings being usable. However as it turned out. The iPhone worked a 100% even before we attempted any repair or internal examination.
Even the touchscreen worked fine. All the cracks and shards made it hard to read anything on it though.
Currently a new glass has been glued on and a new backplate has been placed. W00t

Silly iPhone!
Hey, so I guess you fix iPhones? How much do you charge? I have one that my cousin dropped and now the touchscreen does not work except sliding to turn off.
Please send me an email. Thanks.

I work for a company that does yes, we’re based in the Netherlands. So if you’re outside Europe it would be a tricky thing to do with mail and stuff.
Anyway, a repair of a glass front (that includes the touch screen) would be 139 euros excluding tax (19%) for the 3G. 189 euros excluding tax for the 2G.
