Who are you to decide that i, we, must see useless twitter banter in our search results!
Or Facebook, or any site you made a deal with. Fuck off!
If i want that crap i will go to that site without your help and use their search, thank you very much!
I do not use Twitter, i have Facebook spamming my iPhone. I do not need it in the search results.
Google not providing ANY options as to customize that, other than to add more bloat and rubbish to the results which are supposedly cool and handy just makes the searches LESS relevant. And makes their service less appealing. Back to Altavista i say! Where searches were just that, searches. And not a gathering of the internet for whatever thing i searched for. Or might search for tomorrow.
So be nice for once, stop giving me “personalized results” for the sake of convenience because it’s really not cool or convenient. How am i to know how other people find my site if you keep giving me “my” results instead of just search results everyone sees. Arrogant basterds! Allow me to turn that shit off.
I so wish the world/internet could do without you vomit inducing morons!

I agree: it’s way less relevant. Furthermore, Facebook duplicates all kinds of content with so many rss feeds creating “pages” and “notes. I despise having Facebook in search results.
But oh well…

Interesting… I’ve not had this happen that I can recall but I won’t be happy if does. Alta Vista… haven’t been there in years, used them a lot once upon a time. Maybe it’s a new day… Thanks(:
