Events 2.2.1

A quick bug fix resulting in you being able to create events again.
Only new installs seem to be affected. Cause, a wrong database field. This has been removed and code cleaned up in order to fix the problem.

The update is recommended for all users of Events.

[Update:]
For those who cannot add events or miss options in the dashboard, try re-saving the general settings to re-apply then access roles. This should solve most issues.

I can’t create any event after installing 2.2.1.. It doesn’t fix the problem…

Submit a ticket with specifics in the support system, http://meandmymac.net/support/

Simply the notion that it doesn’t work isn’t very helpful.

  3. Mike Parker says:

Since performing the last upgrade, I cannot manage any events. When I click on the manage events link, I get a screen that reads “Cannot Load WP-Events”.

Okay, I solved my problem. Somehow I was changed from Admin to Editor in the upgrade.

  7. Arnan says:

You weren’t degraded to editor at any point. Events simply wouldn’t allow you to make changes as outlined in the post (under update)

Hi, thank you for this plugin, it is simple yet awesome and is working great on my website.

Anyway, I would like to ask if we could have a repeatable event feature? Like repeat every year, etc.

    Thank you!

  9. Arnan says:

    Events already has that

  10. iwanttobelieve says:

Umm, forgive my ignorance, but where exactly can I find that option?

  11. Arnan says:

WHen you create an event there is an option to repeat a few times.

  12. Diane says:

Okay, I am very new to WordPress and website management – so how do I re-save the general settings and reapply the access roles?

  13. Arnan says:

As the post says, re-save the settings for Events…

  14. Charlie says:

I love this plugin, but I can change any of the Event Options under settings. if i want to place %location% in the header and click on Update Options, I just get a 404 error. what is going oh here do you think?

    any help would be great.

    Thanks, Charlie Sprocket
