About me

While i am not much of a public guy, i am totally geeky about computers. Since 1992-ish i have been crazy about computers and started with an Atari (A diskless thing where everything was ran from a floppy and used a TV for monitor) and am hooked ever since. What started as a weird hobby playing games and stuff turned into a real way of living with the more serious things about a computer like coding websites in PHP/MYSQL/xHTML and CSS, networking and the occasional game.
I know a fair bit about computers on different aspects including networking, coding and various types of soft- and hardware. I have worked with almost all versions of windows working my way up the ladder of versions from Dos 3.0 to Windows 3.1 to Windows XP (No i won’t touch Vista!). In 2002-2003 i discovered Linux/Unix aswell and have ever tried to adapt to it. A major drawback was, and still is, that it does not work well with games and it breaks so easy with no one to blame but myself. So far I’ve experimented with various distributions including early Redhat versions and some SuSe versions. More recently though i’ve been using Ubuntu and Fedora Core for some time. Mostly Ubuntu, which i used for almost 8 months on my laptop as the only OS. Currently i own a MacBook Pro running OSX Leopard and an 20″ iMac as my main computers…

I’m an Wordpress user and have created some plugins for public use as well as private parties (like the company i work for now). Randomly i write code or help others out with stuff related to computers/internet. Visit my project page for more details about the plugin things. Currently i’m on and off working on a PHP IRC bot, which when and if it ever finished will take over the world…
